Jewelry for everyday and the unexpected...A treasure to wear and a treasure to give.
I create one-of-a-kind clay jewelry. Each piece begins from a 23 pound block of paper clay. Paper clay has 30% paper blended with the clay making it lighter and studier once it has been kiln fired. Every piece is handformed and shaped, kiln fired up to 2200 degrees, and glazed with a combination of multiple colors to form a one of a kind work of art. Once the firing process is complete I visualize the finished piece and then begin to make it come to life. I use a variety of elements including freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and swarovski crystals showcasing the elegance that comes from the Earth. Every piece is unique, with its own personality.
